Jenbach in Tirol
Since 2007 all 3 class 1012 prototype locos are in stock of the Swedish Hector Rail, as class 141.
Jenbach is the only station in Austria hosting tracks of 3 different gauges. Two narrow gauge railways meet here the standard gauge international main line Unterinntalbahn: Achenseebahn, the metre gauge cog railway, and the 760 mm gauge Zillertalbahn.
Parallel to the Unterinntalbahn, a new high speed railway line is being built. Its first 40 km long section (Kundl – Baumkirchen) was opened in 2012. The maximum speed on the new line will be 250 km/h - currently the maximum speed allowed on the first section is 220 km/h.
